Classic sophomore slump Blobby. Lay off the kid, he's got a great work ethic

Canucks definitely need a better team toughness quotient. Too soft on the whole. Easier said than done to fix, won't happen over night. Hopefully Benning can find some sand paper over the next few drafts. Both Max Jones and Tyler Benson play with a ton of piss and vinegar. This d-man Logan Stanley is a miserable behemoth. Gotta bring in some old time hockey. Bring back the 82 Canucks - Fraser, Smyl, Delorme, Williams. That's my kind a hockey

Someone tell Rodin to take the next flight to Vancouver?

Toughness is needed and is good but I wouldn't want a team full of stone hands.

They were talking about Biega when they said that. Benning said he won't be leaving Vancouver this season.
They also said that Biega is playing almost 18 minutes a night! Great to see the 'kid' get a chance and love his bulldog style. Pedan playing with a mean streak, working over anyone in front of the net. Mobile too!

Three consecutive GMs have addressed that need and then failed to address it.

I can't figure out how so many passes get picked off by these guys. They obviously have the book on every move the Canucks make and it takes 5 touches by vcr just to do a dump in for fuck sakes.
I'm with the dude on Higgins and even Burrows now. Those 2 have dropped at least a step probably 2 in the past 2 years. Zero turnovers on the forecheck by 14 or 20....time to bring in something new to those roster spots but will anyone want them?

Pedan needs the opportunity to get in 10-20 games, at least, this season. Give him a little confidence and I think he will be an NHLer.

Just when I start cheering for them to win and not tank we are down 3-0. When I want a tank they win.
The only HW the Canucks need

Gillis started to address it then kept changing his plans . It takes forever and a day to turn over a pussy team and get a ballsack . Sure even if you replace Prust with Lucic and Pedan steps up its still a wimpy team. Virtanen is nowhere near ready and there is no physical guys in Utica . It would be nice to add a guy like Brouwer as well as Milan but we won't have the cap space due to all the bad contracts on the team .

Or even Momesso, Diduck, Antoski, Odjick . Pricks like Courtnall, Bure ,Hunter . I hate seeing the team get bitchslapped . I'm ok with the losing but not getting shitkicked too .
