Vancouver couldn't hold leads of 2-0, 3-1 and 4-3, but was able to hold off the Oilers after Yannick Weber's goal with 8:28 remaining in regulation broke a 4-4 tie. The Canucks' top line of Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin and Radim Vrbata piled up seven points, with Vrbata scoring twice and the Sedins earning the assists on Weber's game-winner. Ryan Miller stopped 28 shots for the win but has allowed nine goals in his past two starts; backup Eddie Lack could get the call in the second half of back-to-back games.
