Any love for Levon Helm?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

No not heard of them. Topper you gotta get yer hands on Sturgill Simpsons - Metamodern Sounds in Country Music. Killer album, it's one of my favourites of the year, all the music snob critiques love it. Check out the lead off track from the album - Turtles all the way Down. Stay for the funky change at the 2:00 mark, love the change - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWx6csgGkg4

My favourite albums of 2014

The War On Drugs - Lost in A Dream
Hiss Golden Messenger - Lateness of Dancers
Real Estate - Atlas
Tweedy (Wilco) - Sukierae
Sturgill Simpson - Metamodern Sounds...
Jesse Marchant - S/T
The Delines - Colfax (Singer Songwriter of Richmond Fontaines side project with a female singer)
Sharon Van Etten

Looking forward to the new Frazey Ford of the Be Good Tanyas and the new Elliott Brood
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
