“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

So you fly to Ontario to see Horvat play live. Good times. Do you also tag along with Mëds when he goes to his 40 games a season at Rogers Arena. Are you also in the Whithorse area ? Are you 6ft 8 ?

Bitch, bitch, bitch.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yes Pierre, a plane that Joe is taking will at some point land in Chicago!

Hahahaha

It seems ridiculous that the team that couldn't get through LA in the WCF will trade for the lead choker from a team that couldn't get past LA in the first round. If Thornton couldn't get the Sharks past LA (and has frequently choked in the playoffs), why would Chigago gut its depth for Thornton. Seems insane

Tallon has been quoted as saying he has received one very fair offer for the pick and is thinking on it. Sooooooo do we take it to mean that the Canucks have made a very fair offer and Tallon has said hey I could live with that but I want to wait until the eve of the draft to see if a better offer comes along, or is it all smoke up the back side?
The only HW the Canucks need

I wonder if that offer involves Kesler. Would he waive to Florida?

He is 23, big, strong, fast , has an edge and has scored at a 25 goal pace throughout his career while playing with a weak team and with pretty average linemates.

I haven't seen Uncle Festus for years. How are you doing ?

Actually I only hope to get to a dozen games per year and sell the rest. But thanks for coming out.

[Shawn] Thornton to....the Canucks???

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/shaw ... r-canucks/
It was in one of his first interviews as the president of the Canucks, on Hockey Night in Canada, that Trevor Linden referenced Shawn Thornton unprompted.

“Look at the Boston model,” Linden said. “Thornton, a fourth-line guy, but such an important guy on that team. That’s what makes teams.”
