Luc is a twat, but hotdamn I'd love to have him on our team.
Can you imagine how happy Strangelove would be?

Come on HW, you and Dregs know exactly what I'm talking about.
Well actually Dregs probably has no idea, but I digress....

You wouldn't throw some eyeshadow on William Nylander and give it a go? Yeah sure you wouldn't.

AV hasn't won anything yet. I'll gladly eat crow if the Rangers win the cup.Rumsfeld wrote:Especially when, according to vic, AV was the "only" reason the Canucks couldn't get it done in the playoffs. Fair enough vic, except the crow's already half-consumed. The Rangers don't have to win a bloody Cup this year to prove how wrong you were.vic wrote:AV hasn't won anything yet. The coach you were creaming yourself about is a laughing stock and will likely never coach in the NHL again. Meanwhile AV has taken a crappy Rangers team to the ECF and will have a long career from here regardless of what happens this year.
Just admit it wasn't AV's fault. All coaches make questionable decisions, but until he was tuned out in late 2012, AV was as good a coach as there was in the league, outside of maybe Babcock, Hitchcock, Quenneville and Julien.
AV never embarrassed this franchise and city like Torts did. What a fucking idiot. Given our position when he arrived, probably the worst Canucks coach of all time, and that's saying something.
Unlike most around here, I just called it BEFORE the season started. Sedins on the PK. Sedins flamingoing in front of the net because they've never blocked a shot in their lives. Booth on the PK (lol). Hamhuis on 1st unit PP. Don't activate the defense. Play Kesler 23 minutes a night. No breakout. Always shoot on 2-on-1. Barge into opposition locker room. Constant over-the-top emotion behind the bench, looking like a drunken fan. LOL.
He gave Schroeder his first NHL faceoff in nine months in OUR end with 8 seconds to go in a period. Seriously. Needless to say he lost it badly and we almost got scored on. What a fucking tard.

I'm almost cheering for the Rangers to win it all right now. That would pretty much throw the entire roster under the bus and nobody could say that it wasn't the players.....which this season certainly seemed to suggest.Rumsfeld wrote: Just admit it wasn't AV's fault. Nobody was worse than Keenan. But hindsight is starting to say that Torts sure challenged for that honor.

I'm not following the playoffs too closely, but what's with all the groin spearing this year? That's just lame.
A big part of me is hoping that Chara hits a steep decline next season. He's 37 and you have to think unforgiving mother time is coming fast.

That may be the most delusional comparison I've ever read on this board and that's saying quite a lot.Topper wrote:Milan exemplifies what a power forward should be in the tradition of Gordie "Mr Hockey" Howe.
