US Erection 12

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! Most Canadians feel this way. Minus the Afghan war, which was a just and noble war.

Obama's shine, as a great orator, has worn off. But his policies ring true an make sense to a vast majority of Canadians.

It's too bad that America has become a corporatocracy. The downward spiral will continue, because (aside from some social policies) both parties are the same.

Well then "all Europeans" can (and probably will) go to Hell. :drink:

…. which will probably happen sooner than later given the way Obama’s Middle East obungling is beginning to see wars/terrorism spill over boundaries, but that’s another subject….

Obama was re-elected because, in difficult economic times, he was able to present himself as the candidate who truly cares about the American Middle Class.

He doesn’t.

He’s a narcissistic smoke-and-mirror snake-oil salesman and nothing more.

Republicans started two wars??

Bill the Dem Clinton has stated he would have also chosen to invade Iraq if he were President at the time.

Wake up Per, it was a BIPARTISAN decision. Image

And hey Dems, Repubs, EUROPEANS were onboard with the Afghan War from the get-go, so like wtf dude….

The biggest fear looming on the US economic horizon is the expiry of W's tax breaks.

Of course, it seems the US electorate missed an opportunity to make an even better choice:

Well Obama is beginning to look a lot like Dick Nixon.

1 - Have the National Security Council cleanse reports of a known terrorist attack to keep the bad news from the electorate.

2 - Have the Internal Revenue Service target political foes.

3 - Have the Justice Department secretly cease phone records of news organizations.

No wonder he wants to take their guns away.

I thought they weren't political organizations - that's why they requested tax-exempt status. It sounds like the IRS was doing their job to me. It's also nothing new for the IRS. Something tells me the "Tea Party Radicals for No Taxes" group should probably be red flagged by the IRS when they submit their tax exemption forms. ;)

Benghazi will finally get a look.

What is Boehner up to? He is also in the process of allowing a vote on Keystone XL.

Has he finally realized Obama is the least effective President since Jimmy Carter?

... and the shadiest one since Clinton.

Mr Yes We Can!

Oh wait.. that was the 2008 campaign slogan, during the 2012 election he became

Mr Okay We Can't But I Killed Bin Laden And Al Qaeda Has Been Decimated!

It wouldn't have been helpful to his campaign if a high-profile Al Qaeda attack occurred during said campaign

.... so Obama & Co wrote it off as just a bunch of rioters responding to an anti-muslim youtube film!

It's all about getting into office with this guy, not what he does once he gets there.

We STILL don't know where Barack and Hillary were during the terrorist attack in Benghazi.

Or what their directives were.

We STILL don't know why the Obama administration failed to increase security as requested prior to the attack

(from a group of American spies whose job it was to monitor Al Qaeda movements/plans).

We DO know that Obama & Co are obstructing the truth about Benghazi, defying subpoenas and whatnot.

Did they think their stalling tactics would keep the truth hidden until after the 2012 campaign?

Did they plan on Hillary running as Ms Just Trust Me Or You Hate Women? :drink:

What a world, what a world....

In light of an email surfacing that describes talking points regarding Benghazi, Kerry has been subpoenaed to appear before a congressional committee. Normally a sitting Secretary of State is first invited however this email stinks so badly of a cover up that the courtesy of an invitation is being skipped.

The Ben Rhodes email

Judicial Watch sent in a Freedom of Information request in 2012, then had to sue to get the emails. The emails were never disclosed to the House committee investigating Benghazi.

From the linked article:
Until now, Boehner resisted calls from House Republicans to establish such a committee, repeatedly pointing to the four House panels already investigating the matter

Yeah, because four panels investigating Benghazi is simply not enough!
Let's get a fifth one going! :look:

Safer to run on the "The last republican in the White House started two wars and dug the US into a financial hole so deep it spiralled into a global recession, do you really want one of those again?" message, imho.
