Not sure if they will sign Costello . Depends on how many contracts they have . His mob ties probably won't help his cause either .

I didn't think this would be an issue for present ownership. :look:

Ben Hutton looks good on the PP against NCAA competition.

Getting him on contract is another matter.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

Interesting in how they utilize him on the PP actually.

He gets the point shots through to the net, but also moves forward to snipe from the side of the net, & drives to the net like a power forward. A versatile skill set that would be valuable if developed to stand up to NHL competition.
Less Canucks embarrassment please.

So, do the Canucks still hold the rights to Pathrik Vesterholm that they drafted in 2011?

He and his twin brother Ponthus have been playing in the Swedish second tier league this season and impressed. Pathrik was second in scoring in the league with 47 points in 49 games (23 goals, 24 assists) and was +21 for the season. Ponthus stats are not quite as outstanding; 35 points in 52 games (19 goals, 16 assists) and a +7, but still quite decent.

The twins have now signed a two year contract with Brynäs and will be playing in the SHL next season. If they continue to develop they could eventually become NHL material.

^^^Because the Canucks didn't sign Pathrik within the 2 year window, and he wasn't drafted again in 2013, he is a free agent

Minor league teams quite often mirror the system of their parent club. By the sounds of this game, Green et al are doing a marvellous job of that.
