You find this amazing? You obviously don't spend enough time on this board. This is par for the course my pointy eared friend.

It's like watching "Cheers". It's predictable, long-running and mostly the same kind of jokes but it still makes you laugh, or at least chuckle a little.

Honestly doesn't take much time Spockie!

Search feature: Put Royaldude in as author; Oilers/leaves/Raymond in as keyword.

(click "Message text only")

Then narrow it down by choosing the likely time-frame, then copy paste copy paste copy paste.

Noticed the odds of the Leaves making the playoffs dropped almost a full percentage point cuz Flyers beat Pens.

http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHL.html

Doesn't take much this time of the year.

I'm hoping these are the 8 teams from the East that make the playoffs:

Boston
Pittsburgh
Tampa
Montreal
NYR
Columbus
Philly
Detroit

Of those teams, the ones below the Leaves in the standings ATM have games in hand.

If the Leaves were to lose... say... their next 3 games, things would be VERY interesting.

Hope springs eternal.

There's quite a few teams that need to pass the leaves for them to miss it. But I'm sure you think teams like the Lightning and Habs have clichéd already.

The Leaves next 2 games are vs Detroit and Tampa.

If you go by points per game (assume teams will earn their average points with games in hand)....

Lose to Detroit and Tampa (Rags beating Sens; BJs beat Car) and the Leaves are scrapping for a WC spot.

Rags would be 2 points behind them with a game in hand, Detroit 5 points behind with 3 games in hand.

Either or both of Washington/NJ could be pretty close as well with games in hand.

But hey, don't worry, Leaves are always great down the stretch and who cares if Bernie is injured right? :mex:

Indeed who cares if Bernier is injured. we'll just go with the guy that got the leaves in the playoffs last season and posted a .921 save % in doing so.

Is that the same guy that completely unraveled against the Bruins last year in Game 7?

You mean the guy who has posted a .891 save % since November 25?

The guy whose confidence has been completely shattered by his coach and GM?

The guy who was allowed to play through a possible concussion on Thursday?

THAT guy??

.

So anyone seen BigTuna? :mex:

Leaves lose again tonight and Flyers/Habs/Rags/Caps all win!

Leafers have been speculating about a feud between Reimer and Carlyle all season.

Word was Reimer felt Carlyle trusted Bernier more and Reimer's widdle heart was bwoken... aww.

After being pulled in the 1st after a game in Dec, Reimer was caught glaring at his coach.

Not just a glare, if looks could kill, Carlyle would have been tits up.

Tonight, after the Leaves had their collective butt handed to them by basically Detroit's farm team

.... Carlyle was asked how he thought Reimer played.

"He was okay" said Carlyle, prompting these responses from Reimer and his agent:

Chris Johnston ‏@reporterchris 1m
James Reimer: "He said I was just OK? I thought I was good."

leaves Stats Guy ‏@LeafsStatsGuy 1m
Reimer's Agent ---> RT @RayPetkau As is customary in Toronto, when your team plays poor defensively game after game you blame your goalie.

TROUBLE IN RIVER CITY!!

OMG Leafers are panicking, fun to watch.
