Thing is, there is a huge difference between easing in as a backup w/ a vet like Lu in front of you....like Schneider did, to being handed the reins....its your team. Go! I really think this is way too early for Lack and way too much pressure. It was obvious at the Heritage game he still has a ways to go to handle the 1 spot. Not necessarily the ability but the mental side of things. This is a lot of pressure & if the wheels are falling off the wagon that doesn't help matters. Just having Lu on the bench & in the room meant a lot to Eddy. He looked up to Lu and they had a good relationship. Being Lu's understudy took all the pressure off, he could just play & learn.
