Try as he might Hall could not bleed. Cause as John Lennon said, only women bleed.
Of course he is OK and right back in. Talk about embellishment.

Luongo has been great for the Canucks.
The Oilers top line is atrocious in their own zone. No wonder why they aren't close to a playoff team...
Burrows could easily have a couple. Obviously has no confidence.

its been said but it looks like kassian is getting a little better a little smarter each game and showing signs of possibly being a good strong top 6 player...in a bit probably in 2 years he will be an awesome forward for us. till then he will just be good

Yeah, I could barely see Bieksa's stick making contact, but Miss Taylor went down like he was shot. And then got up looking like he could barely breathe through the pain.....must have been winded from throwing himself to the ice so hard.Hockey Widow wrote:Try as he might Hall could not bleed. Equally as important he and Kesler look to be developing chemistry. I can see him establishing himself there this year. Will he get 20 this year?

I don't think it's beyond reason..funny they just said Zack has 10 in 42 shots
Higgins has 12 in 140 shots

Don't know about confidence, but he has had no luck tonight. That save Scrivens made was robbery.Island Nucklehead wrote:Burrows could easily have a couple. Obviously has no confidence.
Wanna stir things up on that horror-show PP, throw Captain Caveman in there. The kid has some serious playmaking ability and can slide into the crease to keep the PK guessing if need be. Forget playing him with the twins, like HW said I see him potentially being the playmaking winger a shoot-first centre like Kesler has needed since forever. The kid is coming along.herb wrote:PP QB Zack Kassian!

Well that is simply unacceptable. He needs to be putting up Crosby-like numbers for us right now!rats19 wrote:its been said but it looks like kassian is getting a little better a little smarter each game and showing signs of possibly being a good strong top 6 player...in a bit probably in 2 years he will be an awesome forward for us. till then he will just be good
He is getting better game by game, and he's really gaining confidence. I've noticed some very positive interaction between him and the coaches on the bench lately after some of his shifts, he hasn't been stapled to the bench for a while, and most of the penalties he's taken lately have been from being too aggressive.....and Torts has said he's OK with that kind of penalty. Funny what having the coach's confidence and support rather than ridicule and punishment can do for a young player.....
I'm pretty sure that Torts and Co have figured out that if they keep reinforcing that foundation they are going to continue to get a steadily improving player.

So was it just my imagination or did Taylor Swift Hall just get pushed off the puck by Yannik Weber.....

Ok, Edler just continues to be a mystery. He made a really smart move in the neutral zone while carrying the puck up on the PP.....the drop pass is so predictable, so he faked the drop pass and the Oiler forward totally bit on it. I was like, finally, Edler utilized that ridiculously overused breakout play to his advantage and gained the zone with possession easily. Then he waits too long and forces a pass to the other point and turns the puck over.
