Nedved

Post by ClamRussel »

Heeeeee's back, can't believe he's on the Czech squad. wow
Whats next, NHL comeback like Jagr? Sadly, he'd probably help the Nux 2nd pp unit.

Had no idea Ned the Head was still playing hockey.

Czechs are so desperate they're going with old fogies hee hee.

Put him on our 4th line!
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Oh, come on, he's younger then Selänne, and just one year older than Alfredsson.

Has been captaining the same team since 2008 and is putting up roughly a point per game in the Czech league. Represented them in the 2012 world championship too.

Jagr was from the same draft class and he's still playing at a decent level.

He just tied Mario for 7th overall in points. Only needed an extra 520 games to do it.

Maybe he wants an autographed stick from Crosby to add to his collection :)

Guess you don't know how much it hurts to lose a final to the Finns in overtime. :|

I mean, sure, losing 5-1 to them in the semifinal may give you an idea, but it's even more frustrating to lose a gold game in ot.

Yeah, Färjestad were not happy about this. You have five seconds to get ready for faceoff, and after that the ref can drop the puck at any time. He decided to punish them for their tardiness and dropped it with only a Leksand player ready in the faceoff circle. The player than shoots it from 55 m and scores while the Färjestad goalie is still taking a sip of water!

Imagine the rage on the Färjestad bench!

Didn't do much for the outcome though, this was Leksand's only (but already legendary) goal in a 5-1 win for Färjestad.
