GDT: Jan 5 - Nucks at Ducks 5:00 PST SNET

Postby Reefer2 » Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:46 pm

2nd game of a back to back against a Californian team.

Time for a big night by the Sedins with 3 points each.

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/scores/gameday/?hubname=nhl-ducks

I want to see less mistakes by the D and a HELL of a lot more offence by the 2nd and 3rd line.

I predict the flood gates open and a Nucks win 5 - 1.

The Ducks goal scored with less than 1 minutes to play because someone starts talking about the SO.

I predict a Ducks win and they win big unless Luo stands on his head (which probably will happen).

Hammer is still playing too many minutes.

We're playing an even bigger team than the Kings.

Penner has been scratched twice in the last 10 games and is on a path to redemption (or so he says).

The Ducks just finished a 10 game winning streak before losing to the Sharks and are now on a 2 game winning streak.

Duck's 3rd line and 4th line players: Cogs, Palmieri, Bonino are producing like 2nd line players. Cogs is playing the best hockey of his life and I think all three players are having career years.

Ducks are the B's of the west. Big, strong, skilled and full of assholes. The perfect anti-Canuck team.

The Ducks are not close to the size of the Kings or the Blues or anywhere close to as mean as the Bruins. Only assholes I see are Getzlaf and Perry. A good young team but people calling them a huge physical team need their eyes checked.
Tell me how my ass tastes.

We'll need our best players to be our best players if we're gonna win this one boys.

Ducks have not lost at home in regulation time this year!

Higgins isn't playing today. :o

Ducks 2nd best team in the National Hockey League thus far.

Gotta stop Perry who always act like a lil bitch out there.

Time for a gut-check.

I'm thinking the guys are going to come out better but sustain things better than they did last game. If it weren't for the fact that they will likely be named to Team Canada, I would like nothing better than to see Perry take a Garrison bomb to the face.

What's this about Higgins not playing tonight?

Higgins is out, resulting in the call up to Benn Ferriero. He played a little (very little) for Torts last year.

With Luongo out Rob Laurie (on a PTO) is in as Lack's back up.

Luongo may have been hurt on the Brown goal (though you wouldn't know it by the responce of team mates yesterday).

Laurie played his first NHL game (for Anaheim) last year, at the age of 42 .

New lineup, new found energy and chemistry!

Kassian seems more motivated seeing Sestito playing pretty good.

Always happy seeing Hank shoot the puck, and the team finally getting Torts focus on just getting shots on net! regardless of where they are shooting.
