Well that sucked for PP, 5 minutes and not real good chance.

Too much turkey and too early in the game to get a 5 minutes PP.

I also find the first PP unit stays out to long.

Just tuned in. For some reason I'm liking the Booth Richardson Kassian line lately ... could be a sleeper.

Hansen with a Bossy seeing eye shot

A sleeper? I agree, this line can dipsy, doodle and dangle with tic tac toe passing like we have never seen before

Celebrities in jerseys in the crowd. Dennis Eckersley in a Lames jersey behind Hartley and Louie Anderson in Canuck gear behind Torts

Who want tic-tac-toe in the Torts era? I don't even want to see that from the Sedins! Gimme some garbage goals, capitalizing on turnovers, opportunism, anything but predictabile plays ... On that note our power play is so obvious it's boooooooring!

Yeah, he looks great, but it's still funny to hear people talking about a goaltending controversy. I mean he's no Ken Dryden.

The only difference between tonight's version of the Canucks and the October version is that the boys are playing way better defensively. Puck luck seems to have gone the other way. They're still pressing, though, which bodes well.

That PP was an abortion - all 5 minutes of it. I was hoping that they would light Calgary up in retribution for McGrattan's thuggery, but ended up seeing... that. Time for Torts and Gulutzan to start running and calling the plays because the guys are just not getting it done and are looking bad not doing it. Is it me, or does Kassian look not so bad on the half-boards?

20 minutes to go. Give'er Lacker! :towel:

May be distracted by the kids but haven't heard a thing about Alberts. What's the word?

Granted, it was against the Flamers but a SO is SO. Way to go Stork! :D

I figured either the Kesler line or the Richardson line would get the insurance marker out there. They looked like it was a matter of time. Magic Mike had that one chance earlier in the 3rd and I hoped that would go in.

Nice to see the sad Flamer fans leave tearfully after Santorelli scored. Even they knew their team had no hope. Give that team a line's worth of talent and it could have been a different ending but the one thing I will give the Flamers is they worked hard most of the game - until Backlund got outworked cleanly by Kes on the last goal. Even so, Giordano to Sochi??? I might asphyxiate with laughter on that one.

Hope McGrattan gets 5 games, but will likely get 3.

Bring on the Flyers!
