We need to stop feeding the troll... it know its tempting, but RD hasn't had a meaningful post in a LONG time. Resist the urge, and it might just go back under the bridge.
Hahah...

RD is pretty damn good at what he does. A hockey board is pretty boring without the trolls. One inflammatory RD post spawns a whole host of others while intelligent posts probably only spawn half as many.

Good work RD!!
Yeah but that's just it, I don't think he is trolling. He just seems to have lost it.

2011 affected us all in different ways...some retired from the board, some just faded away into nothing, some got depressed, some got angry :D , some got creative while others just lost all hockey perspective.

This goes beyond trolling, it is just kinda sad. BD use to have relevant hockey posts that were well thought out and argued. I don't think he is even capable of that anymore. For whatever reason the poster formally known as RoyalDude has become impotent :eh:

Yeah, a real GM would of got Horvat+ (a NHL player or prospect) for Schneids. A real GM would of moved Lou long before a goaltending controversy came about. A real GM would of never made a goalie the captain of the team. What do u expect from the player agent?

Speaking of Horvat, he's playing on the first line for the 1st pre-tourney game against Finland with Connor McDavid and the two combined for a beauty: http://www.tsn.ca/videohub/?collection=72&show=263900

That's the whole genius of the thing. You don't know if he's serious or not so as a serious poster, you, 95% of the time, give him the benefit of the doubt.

Haven't you noticed the pattern? Nucks are playing well? RD disappears.

Nucks go on a mini losing streak, RD appears with his inflammatory anti-Gillis comments which are GUARAN-DAMN-TEED to provoke the unwashed masses and god help you if you try to engage him with half decent, semi-intelligent logical replies.

And the fact that his trolling is somewhat intelligent and not "the Canucks are teh suck" make it all that more devious.

Trolling 401.

RD is the Joaquin Phoenix of the Interwebz. His urine-stained spandex bicycle shorts appears on the wiki page for trolling.

Damn... he's good.

We are tied with Boston and San Jose with 48 pts . yes they have games in n hand. We are 2 pts out of 5 th place in league standings. Not bad for a struggling team with holes in it plus key injuries.. Just sayin

Too bad we played all of our games against the SJS already. Those points would look nice.

The team is holding its own. Yes, we are still in the top half of teams as opposed to the bottom half. That bodes well moving forward. I admit when the twins re-signed for four more years I breathed easier. We still have our top two point producers with some promise in the minutes. No Calgary, or heaven forbid Oiler, rebuilds for us. Still need to add the right mix of kids over the next year or two but I feel better about the now than I did before the twins re-signed. We have four more years to get ready for when they retire, maybe five if they are still producing and want to do one year deals after that.
The only HW the Canucks need

Ok, it's not that funny. Just RD takes a lot of flack for his thoughts sometimes. I think a lot of times, he raises a good point and it's nice to see him right. :D

Anyways, regarding Shinkaruk, ppl here are comparing him to St.Louis, P.Kane and shit, just remember that for every St.Louis there are multitudes of Steve Kariyas, Andrew Ebbetts, Brandon Reids, Jeff Tambellinis, Ryan Shannons and Jordan Schroeders. It's tuff for a small guy to become a regular in the NHL, let alone become a star player. Don't get me wrong, I hope Shinkaruk becomes a great player, but the odds are against him and I'm not falling for the hype until he shows me something @ the NHL lvl. He's having an average year for his junior team (a drop off in his point production in comparison to his previous years) and he got cut from the world junior squad (while the 16 year old Conner Mcdavid made it, 3 years Shinkaruk's junior, same size player), it doesn't look that great for Shinkaruk right now.
