Yeah, this will blow over. No one got hurt and the authorities stepped in before it got out of hand. Lucic will be back in boston focusing on big games before he knows it and this little incident will get moved to the back of his mind.

With that huge bone in the front of his skull, all there is is the back of his mind..Todd Bersnoozi wrote:Yeah, this will blow over. You have a point here, and I wouldn't pin all the blame on Lucic. That said, I think it's a safe assumption that there are smarter places where people like him could party.SKYO wrote:It's pretty dumb a player can't hang out in his home fucking town, even after the Canucks WON. sheesh, he shouldn't have to hide here.
it's not like he's Marchand.

What bar was he at?
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Judging by that music in the background (Tom Petty's "Free Falling") I am guessing The Roxy because there is no other bar on a Saturday night, on Granville Street, that would play music for 40somethings.RoyalDude wrote:What bar was he at?

There seem to be a lot of assumptions about this.
In the video, Lucic asked a guy if he knows who he is. The altercation may be the result of a drunk's head being too large, & have little to do with hockey loyalties.
A spoiled child spouts off about how hard done he is, & quickly lays blame to focus attention elsewhere.

Less Canucks embarrassment please.

It doesn't help the video of the incident is crappy ass flip phone quality from 2005 to really see more of what happened.sagebrush wrote:There seem to be a lot of assumptions about this.

It sounded like they were both asking each other if they knew who the f*** each one was. Maybe they should wear ID bracelets.

BurningBeard wrote:So... good? Don't defend it. Is Lucic really so stupid that he thought he could party in downtown Vancouver after that game, and what Marchand did, and a drunk idiot wouldn't take a run at him or someone wouldn't piss in his beer?
Or is he that desperate for kootch, and he thought he was going to get the Patrick Kane treatment?
I'm not saying he deserves it, but have some common sense and self awareness for Christ's sake. What exactly did he think was going to happen? I wish a reporter would have the balls to ask him that.
I don't need Lucic defending "my city", nor do I care about his fucking opinion. Get over yourself, seriously.

Gonna get a Canucks jersey with Lucic's name on it.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
