Last time I was in Japan I bought a bottle of 17 year old whiskey, damn was it smooth.

Now I bought Nikka From The Barrel, double matured blended whisky from Japan and it tastes pretty good.
Interesting

I'm just getting into the scotches, learning my way around that neighbourhood

A few comments;

A solid road game and a sloppy change away from a point however, like the previous game, the Canucks were out played at their own game. Even though the forecheck was more effective, they lost the important one on one puck battles.

The Duck effectively kept the play to the outside and with busy sticks limited chances around the net.

Burrows is playing well but he is not playing with his linemates. The three of them need to figure that out and Burrows needs to accept that he isn't going to get any calls from officials. Quit fucking whining about it.

Richardson was often muscled off the play and showed why the Kings thought he was expendable.

Has Dustin Penner figured it out?

Andersen is a monster. Is there any part of the net he does not cover?

Wife was recently in the UK and brought me back a bottle of 16 yr old Bowmore to go with my Islay malt collection. Blob, how many umbrellas do you put in that drink?

Gillis needs to make a top 6 bold move or he will waste another good season with a terrible playoff result. That is unless you all think Ricky Schroeder, booth and Weise are the saviours. I see it now, another dumb ass Pahlsson, Roy trade deadline deal for a centre. Yawn

Somebody tell Okcanuck we are in 8th, last playoff spot
Oh no, what will happen? Maybe Gillis should blow it all up,eighth place after playing 13of 20 on the road, but I guess that doesn't factor into your analyses.

We have holes...We knew we had holes... Doing damn good having these holes.

prognosis: must fill holes....

So, its not a surprise that we lost...could have won, didnt> We are doing better than anyone expected while the transition takes place from old guard to new guard (coaching)

We will be just fine...I BELIEVE

No umbrellas but you should use a pineapple chunk with a sword.

No idea how people drink fucking scotch the stuff tastes terrible. I have buddies that love the shit and they have all the cases of cohibas, Romeo & Juliettes and shit . No thanks. I am puking if I smoke a big stoagie and drinking scotch.

Good to hear Blob. Glad things are getting better with you.

Hopefully, the folks over at Calgarypuck.com get to experience whatever you had to unfortunately experience.

I wasn't able to watch this game or all of the Kings game, but it sounds like we should have beaten the Ducks based upon how the boys played.

Disappointing that we should have and played well enough to come away with two points in Phoenix and Anaheim but couldn't get wins.

Hopefully a few days off followed by a long home stand is good for the team. Winning four or five of the next six would be good, but there are some good teams rolling into town.

Nice to see my Saints stomp all over Lever's Cowboys.

Another tough team and another loss.. the first line hasn't scored in 3 games ..The PP sucks and goaltending is not stellar..
Maybe time to shake it up again? Split up the Sedins?
and the Dude is right except for not mentioning we have played more games than any other team in
the division. LA is right on our ass with 22 points and 3 games in hand .. Sure I expect the Nucks to make the
playoffs but its not a shoo-in..

Maybe you think being 26th in sv% and 19th in GAA is star quality?

The good news for the Nucks is Quick got injured in the Sabres game ..
and Hodgson scored 2 goals.. so maybe that takes a little heat off the Canuckis ?

Are those numbers on the goaltenders or the players in front of them giving up odd man rushes?

No, and I agree Torts "new" style will leave goaltenders more vulnerable especially when the defensive play of the team is questionable.. However the "numbers" do tell me that though Luongo is playing OK. he is not at the top of his game and definitely wont steal many games..
