I'm not so sure about that, I think he's cooked.Strangelove wrote:Hmm... no doubt he has a crack lawyer.BurningBeard wrote: Apparently this story isn't going away... I do believe Mr. Fords career is on the rocks.
Every time I look out my window, same three dogs looking back at me.

This thread is off the rails.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

At least they don't have a gay mayor that puts in bike lanes on narrow bridges...BurningBeard wrote:I'm not so sure about that, I think he's cooked.Strangelove wrote:Hmm... no doubt he has a crack lawyer.BurningBeard wrote: Apparently this story isn't going away... Not that there's anything wrong with that
I love every move Jim Benning makes

The evidence is methaphysical.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Ford's career has gone up in smoke.

Re: Toronto has a drug problem
The hatred/animosity that this board has for Toronto is pretty similar to the hatred/animosity that Calgarypuck.com and Albertans have towards us.
(And I'm sure in both cases, it's vice-versa).
I was a part of this.
I regret ever being a part of that.
Wasting time on pettiness and hate is a tremendous waste.
Ironically enough, I came to this realization moments after spamming the hell out of many Calgary sites after they had their flood earlier this year (I did this in response to their attitude towards us during the 2011 Cup Finals).
Not trying to have a "high horse" mentaltiy here or anything like that, but perhaps I can comment on this subject since I've probably "hated" Alberta and Toronto more viciously than most.

We're ribbing their hockey team and laughing in amazement that their mayor is apparently an obese, crack smoking, blow-hard.The Brown Knight wrote:The hatred/animosity that this board has for Toronto is pretty similar to the hatred/animosity that Calgarypuck.com and Albertans have towards us.

This just makes you an asshole.Ironically enough, I came to this realization moments after spamming the hell out of many Calgary sites after they had their flood earlier this year (I did this in response to their attitude towards us during the 2011 Cup Finals).
If they want to make fun of us for some of our idiot fans burning down the city after we lost in 2011, that's fine. I'm okay with that, I can laugh at myself (ie who the fuck loots a Chapters!?). I can laugh at them for having a conservative mayor who reportedly smokes crack and still looks like he eats cases of pizza pockets daily, and a hockey team that cracks up and blows a game seven 4-1 third period lead.

Re: Toronto has a drug problem
You conveniently left out the last part of my original quote (I.e. The "high horse" comment, myself 'seeing things from the other side of the coin' since I've probably disliked Alberta and Toronto more than most).
Keep in mind however, I don't disagree with anything you said above.
I personally just came to the realization that it is exhausting and/or a waste of time to engage in that sort of thing.
To each their own though. Everyone is on their own Hindu journey in life.
