Toronto has a drug problem

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I'm not so sure about that, I think he's cooked.

This thread is off the rails.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

At least they don't have a gay mayor that puts in bike lanes on narrow bridges...

Not that there's anything wrong with that :eh:
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)

The evidence is methaphysical.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Pipe Down and let the man be what he wants to be (which is apparently a relentless crack fiend). Freedom!

The hatred/animosity that this board has for Toronto is pretty similar to the hatred/animosity that Calgarypuck.com and Albertans have towards us.

(And I'm sure in both cases, it's vice-versa).

I was a part of this.

I regret ever being a part of that.

Wasting time on pettiness and hate is a tremendous waste.

Ironically enough, I came to this realization moments after spamming the hell out of many Calgary sites after they had their flood earlier this year (I did this in response to their attitude towards us during the 2011 Cup Finals).

Not trying to have a "high horse" mentaltiy here or anything like that, but perhaps I can comment on this subject since I've probably "hated" Alberta and Toronto more viciously than most.

We're ribbing their hockey team and laughing in amazement that their mayor is apparently an obese, crack smoking, blow-hard.

This just makes you an asshole.

If they want to make fun of us for some of our idiot fans burning down the city after we lost in 2011, that's fine. I'm okay with that, I can laugh at myself (ie who the fuck loots a Chapters!?). I can laugh at them for having a conservative mayor who reportedly smokes crack and still looks like he eats cases of pizza pockets daily, and a hockey team that cracks up and blows a game seven 4-1 third period lead.

You conveniently left out the last part of my original quote (I.e. The "high horse" comment, myself 'seeing things from the other side of the coin' since I've probably disliked Alberta and Toronto more than most).

Keep in mind however, I don't disagree with anything you said above.

I personally just came to the realization that it is exhausting and/or a waste of time to engage in that sort of thing.

To each their own though. Everyone is on their own Hindu journey in life. 8-)
