Can't wait for this one...
Hoping both goalies have a great game, with the Canucks winning of course.

Negative. It will be Tom Sestito who gets the winner after he trips on Schneids poke check and goes into the net with Schneider before the puck. Goal will stand because Schneids tripped him.BurningBeard wrote:0-0 tie. Shootout goes to 15 rounds before Dale Weise scores on a controversial spin-o-rama.
Come on now. Let's try to stay realistic...Meds wrote:Negative. It will be Tom Sestito who gets the winner after he trips on Schneids poke check and goes into the net with Schneider before the puck. Tretiak will be at the game?Meds wrote:Here's the real irony here.....the best goaltender of all time will be watching from the bench.
And he'll be watching one guy who stole a starting job from him, and another guy who will within a season.Meds wrote:Here's the real irony here.....the best goaltender of all time will be watching from the bench.
I was going to say the Avs are in town?BurningBeard wrote:Come on now. Let's try to stay realistic...Meds wrote:Negative. neither has to prove anything tonight, stop buying into media bullshit hypeMeds wrote:This should be very good.
Both of these goalies will have something to prove here. Luongo needs to prove that it wasn't a mistake to keep him, and Schneider will want to prove that he shouldn't have been dealt.

Part of me hopes that the Canucks chase Schneids in the first period, just so we can all be entertained by the fallout of that.
Looking forward to this one. (First time I've ever said that about a game involving New Jersey).
I am inclined to respond to your post with a long analysis, but unfortunately, I am having some cramping issues and will not be able to finish my post as result.Strangelove wrote:
