Oh no, the windswept-flowing, lions mane, Fabio/Ron Duguay hair style of the NHL is back in the line-up with god on his side and a rifle on his back. LOL
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Nice start for the Canucks, up 2-0. Seems the Sedins-Kesler PP will continue.
Still looking like Luongo will have to have a big year, or at least a good start to it. New System and all that...

Luongo playing like he wants to send a message to the other teams coach.....
Rangers looking a lot like the Canucks did last year.

Bieksa has a great game. The defense looks so much better with Alberts.
Booth is skating really well and does not look rusty at all.

I'm praying that he's using sarcasm there.Mëds wrote:Huh.....Jovocop wrote:Bieksa has a great game. The defense looks so much better with Alberts.

Think he meant to say "without".
Yeah not sure what Alberts did in the summer for training.
I thought he was a very solid #7 last season but he's been just horrible this preseason.
Gotta say that all the youngsters with the exception of Jensen have been better than I expected.
Nice to see Kesler and Booth looking healthy.
Nice fight by Bieksa.
And oh yeah, Looooooooooooooooo......
Have y'all noticed that the GDTs after losses are getting way more hits than those after wins?
Yup, Doom & Gloom rule the Canuck day.
But I get the feeling things are about to change!

Alberts brings the toughness and experience, so much so I bet Corrado gets sent down to juniors.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The only way Corrado doesn't make this team is if he's caught in a numbers game.SKYO wrote:Alberts brings the toughness and experience, so much so I bet Corrado gets sent down to juniors.
As in Gillis is afraid of losing Alerts/Weber on waivers.
This is assuming Torts has his way and goes with 7 dee.
But then if Torts has his way I think he convinces Gillis keeping Frankie is worth risk losing Alerts/Weber.
Corrado is definitely the best of the three right now.
BTW Corrado would get sent to the AHL, not juniors.
So yeah, as the preferred injury-replacement-player he'd become a frequent flyer fo sho bro.

Yup you right about the AHL, as Corrado just got sent there.
But yeah he'll definitely see some NHL games this upcoming season!
And ya gotta think Shinkaruk will see at least 5 NHL games!
Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have reduced their pre-season roster by two players.
The following player has been assigned to the Utica Comets of the AHL:
Frank Corrado Defence
Zach Hamill Centre
The following player has been assigned to their junior club:
Brendan Gaunce Centre
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Yikes, that's just not fair.SKYO wrote: Yup you right about the AHL, as Corrado just got sent there.
Now I'm definitely thinking Gillis is thinking about bringing in another Dman.

Yup and what about Horvat?SKYO wrote: And ya gotta think Shinkaruk will see at least 5 NHL games!
Would they really rather have him play on the 4th line?
