Hall and Eberle looked like the most talented players on the ice. And the Sedins were playing.
To be fair, it was the Oilers' fourth preseason game. For most of the Canucks, it was their first preseason game.

^ Yup, and I'm sure playing with crap line mates isn't helping Horvat's game at all either.

Gaunce and Shinkaruk deserve another look. Horvat should be sent back to London. Jensen is doing nothing to warrant another look. Kassian still needs to play with more desperation to his game. Definitely can't cycle with the Sedins like Burrows can. I'm with Rummy, regarding Bieska. Not worried about Lalongo, slow ass starter. Can't stand the Oilers, don't listen to Rummy, but I must say, impressed with Darnell Nurse.

Cut Schroeder loose if he has a wonky shoulder. Where is Mallet? Who the fuck is Stuart, Negrin, DiFazio? Cut em loose, why the fuck bother?

Agreed. I want to see more of Lain, Mallet and Archibald.

Gaunce is the closest of the youngsters to landing a job because there is a opening at 3rd/4th line centre.

Shinkadink would have to beat out a few vets to land a top 6 wing position.

Not gonna happen, but it's GREAT to see those hands + speed.

Next year Shinkadink?

Two years BoHo?

NEVER Jensen?

Disagree about Kassian, I thought he looked GREAT!

Coupla good hits, coupla BEAUTY passes.

The twins were out of sync... but it was nice to see them back on the PK after all these years.

The shutdown siblings? :drink:

Agree with both of you about Casual Kev.

I see a major clash coming with him and Torts.

Benchings, arguing in the media, trade request... it's all good.

Garrison went into beast mode after a slow start.

I actually thought DeFazio looked good out there!

But they sent him down today so I guess they agree with you.

Maybe Gaunce just made him look good.

Schroeder separated his shoulder like 7 times last season, we'll see if the surgery fixed it.

Agree about Nurse.

Didn't know a whole lot about him, but the kid can play. The Oilers may have a lucked out here in the draft.

I like Kass, but he really needs to be more assertive. I just don't get the impression that his heart is 100% into it, otherwise he'd be a dominant force out there. He could be a lot more competitive and passionate, IMO. All the tools, but no tool box. I hope I'm wrong.

Would you feel better if his name was Kassinni? :P

Give him some more time. Kesler took time, the Sedins....blah fucking blah...patience is a virgin!

Juice and Torts should be going at it by the middle of the season lol.

Yup fuck I was really hoping Nurse wouldn't land in Edmonton at the draft as he's going to be a big stud dman asap, oh well hopefully they overpaid their forward core. :D
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Nurse looks really good but he's a ways away. Total beanpole and D take a while to develop.

Knowing Royaldude's Oilers he'll make the team, play 29 minutes in game 1, and break his femur.

Honestly I believe The Kassian has a toolbox.

A big guy with tools + toolbox!

Kinda like my pal Gaunce.

And then there's Horvat.

The future looks bright from where I sit.
