Conspiracy Theory

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

We'd then all have to go live in the boonies with Topper.

BOTH, which artificially creates huge demand for the US buck.

Or so the theory goes...
The artificial demand for the us dollar is created through the treasuries purchase of US gov debt. S much demand, that they have to crank up the printing presses to keep up with it.

Well I suppose there are a few ways the US artificially stimulates demand for the US buck.

The question is how important is the petrodollar to the US in that regard

.... important enough to instigate wars, overthrow governments?

Use diesel or kerosene.

GPS has been acting weird for the past 10 days. tells me +/-3m accuracy and then I save the location as a waypoint and it plots it 45m away. same thing with all my coworkers gps units.

System is maintained by the US Coast Guard...........................................................

Yeah, GPS is the baby of the US military (they share it with the world at large).

Yeah, that's gotta be Iran screwing around the system.

Yeah, time to nuke those fuckers back to the Stone Age!!!

To the victors go the oil.

Meanwhile the van left.

Should I ask the thugs for my money back?

There are four different GPS systems. The US, Europe, China and Russia. Access to the US and Russian systems is free but few of our gps units read the Russian signal (however many of our smart phone do including iphones). Too bad because it would provide much better accuracy for us in the northern hemisphere. Europe is in the midst of replacing theirs and will be the tits. Free basic service with a pay for higher precision service as well as having transponders on the satellites for two way communication with receivers. A great SAR add on that works similar to SPOT. The Chinese system does not provide global coverage so fugetaboutit for now.

Guess I'm behind the times, last I heard the US GPS was the only one worth shit.

Also didn't know you could pay extra for higher precision.

Technically those other systems have different names.

For eg. the Russian one is "GLONASS".

"Global Positioning System" (GPS) is owned and operated by the US military.

Hmmm do you think there's a chance Spidey has wandered into Iran again?

*calls NSA buddy*
