Kesler is pretty jacked for a beanpole.

Oh, Kesler’s definitely in fantastic shape, don’t get me wrong, but he strikes me as a guy who is naturally skinny and has to work hard to keep weight on. He’s a lean guy.

Re: Canucks News and Notes
Mid-April, mid-April...what's so significant about that date?? Ah yes, that's when Schneider will be in a long playoff run as starter (after winning 2 games in a postseason for the first time in his career) and Luongo will be back to the back-up role or will have lost a first round series for the first time in his career.Rumsfeld wrote: Should happen, I dunno... around mid-April?
Because that's where we're going to be in mid-April, right? Then Rummy is proven right?
Seems likely.

Just responding to the people (the HOMERS) who are now trying to say Cory Schneider isn't even very good.darren wrote:"a fanatic is a man who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."Mondi wrote: But, this player has saved his worst games in his career for the biggest games in his career.....etc, etc ad nauseam.
Re: Canucks News and Notes
I don't think anyone said that Schneider is not good. He is just not proven to be in the elite level yet, with only 98 regular seasons and 10 playoffs games played.Mondi wrote:Just responding to the people (the HOMERS) who are now trying to say Cory Schneider isn't even very good.darren wrote:"a fanatic is a man who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."Mondi wrote: But, this player has saved his worst games in his career for the biggest games in his career.....etc, etc ad nauseam.

Re: Canucks News and Notes
It is widely agreed that he is on step 6/10 to be a elite Goaltender...
no need to say that he "isn't" as he will be.

A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Finally one that can be somewhat justified.

The condensed vid clips provided by the club save viewing time, but also simplify & peddle cool-aid. The full summit (strangely enough) provides more.
Torts: emphasized that training camp is for testing emotional strength as well as physical ability; re-affirmed support for the up-tempo game, & the need to get more offence out of Edler; said they're going to ask for more from the core (without relying on yelling); said results are measured by playoff success; backed up to clarify why Pavel Kubina cried under his watch (frustration) - for the back biting media.
Gillis said that Luongo felt thrown under the bus after the 2011 SCF.
Get ready to go to work boys, comfy summer camp is over ....
