Division names have also been released:
Pacific: Kings, Ducks, Coyotes, Sharks, Canucks, Flames & Oilers
Central: Hawks, Blues, Preds, Wild, Avs, Stars & Jets
Atlantic: Bruins, Sabres, Wings, Panthers, Habs, Sens, TBL & leaves
Metropolitan: Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Caps, Pens, Flyers, Canes and BJs

The Canucks being in a “Pacific” division with the Cali teams sure makes a whole lot of sense versus teams in Colorado and Minnesota.

Nash should be in the Metropolitan Division

A couple of comments after a quick scan of the Vancouver sched.

Ugly 7 game October eastern road trip including back to back Pit (1pm eastern start) and Col (6pm eastern start).

Oddly many of the back to backs are at home including the bizarre
Sun. - Dec. 8 vs Colorado 5:00 PM
Mon. - Dec. 9 vs Carolina 7:00 PM
Fri. - Dec. 13 vs Edmonton 6:00 PM
Sat. - Dec. 14 vs Boston 7:00 PM
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Conveniently enough the Coyotes will stay in the Pacific when they move to Seattle later on.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The schedule sure has a different look without all of those Alberta games in it! :D

Hmmm... there are some interesting home games:

1) Oct 8 against New Jersey where they will likely match Schneider vs. Luongo

2) Oct 30 against Detroit with Alfredsson as a Red Wing

3) Nov 19 against Florida where Luongo will hopefully educate Tallon on goaltending

4) Jan 1, 2014 against Tampa Bay - I hope Vancouver lights up Lindback/Bishop

5) Feb 28, 2014 against Minnesota - the return of Ballard

6) Mar 2, 2014 Heritage Classic at BC Place vs. Ottawa

7) Mar 10, 2014 against NYI and Grabner

8) Mar 23, 2014 against Buffalo with Hodgson and Ehrhoff

9) April 1, 2014 against NYR - hahaha, the Tortorella-Vigneault matchup is on April Fool's Day
