Re: Canucks News and Notes
I'm still convinced the idea of Cory having "panic attacks" is a nyth, much like Bigfoot or the female orgasm.
His first playoff game was intense and he cramped up. Maybe the pressure got to him a little, it happens to every player at some point in the NHL. Now we're throwing him under the bus for one game but Luongo gets a mulligan for multiple bed-shittings and a crappy regular season?
Ridiculous...

I posted a link to the article a coupla weeks ago, maybe I'll dig it up later.Rumsfeld wrote: Love to see a link to that.
There's no question his starts were sheltered in his first 2 seasons.Rumsfeld wrote: Anyway, Schneider is gone now so his starts were all sheltered and he's a head case. Gotcha.
I've argued that before at this site.
But hey, that's standard procedure in the NHL when he's playing back-up to an established #1.
I've also called Schneids a headcase from the get-go
(but then I have called every goaltender in NHL history a headcase over the years).
There actually WAS a similar story involving Messier + Bure after they both left!Rumsfeld wrote: If Kesler left today there'd be a thread from you guys tomorrow about how he hit on Burrows in the shower so it's a good thing we got that second-rounder for him when we could.

http://www.nucksmisconduct.com/2013/1/1 ... e-to-shineEnter Cory Schneider, who, if you listen around town, has either had the flu, foot fungus, mono, a knee strain, a groin strain, anxiety, cramps or post-traumatic stress disorder.
I actually don’t think people exploring the idea of whether Schneider is suffering from anxiety unfair. He revealed to me earlier this season that he didn’t think it was dehydration which forced him to leave the Chicago playoff game two years ago. He came to realize it was a panic attack.
For now, I think exploring this issue as a root of the current problem is misguided. He was forced off the ice for five straight days last week. And that sure doesn’t fit.
There's more if you google Cory Schneider panic attacks.>> Jason "Director of Shap and Bounty Bars" Botchford says Cory Schneider knows it's his time to shine, admits to dealing with panic attacks he didn't know he was having.

not a myth...Rumsfeld wrote:... or the female orgasm.
You obviously know as much about that subject as you do the Canucks.

As in yeah, it doesn't exist.
Is that also AV's fault?
Yep you really strike me as the type of guy who scores a ton of ass.
Seriously dude, you are so fucking lame.
Mëds needs some help with that cushion, why don't you get your pale little skinny ass over there...

Ah yes, the all-important first game of the regular season. Can he ever be forgiven? Time will tell.Topper wrote:No Doc, that pic is from the first game of the season.
It's more like what you guys will be doing when you realize valiant Rumsfeld was right, and fought the lonely good fight on this here message board despite overwhelming (though vastly inferior) odds.
Should happen, I dunno... around mid-April?

Am I the only one that thinks we are going to see a kinder, gentler version of Torts for at least half a season?
