you guys are bullying me, I am going to tell the mods.
Yea so I don't think swapping 1st round picks as a block buster especially one that was forced.
Regarding Letang, can the Canucks afford him and still afford to ice a team without scrubs on the 4th line.

His cap hit is only 3.5 this year. So ya we could afford him if we cleared out the other dead wood contracts and especially if we traded Edler to get him. Luongo gone, Edler gone, Ballard gone. Heck we could still keep Booth. Although if we traded Edler to get him I'd like to keep Ballard at least for this season. He can be bought out next year.
Now that I think about it just getting rid of Luongo and trading Edler and we would be fine this year. Next year however is another story. But with the cap going up and maybe the twins taking a million less each...well you get the idea.
The only HW the Canucks need

Heck under my scenario we could still afford to sign Vinny to a 5 million hit.
Luongo and Edler take care of 10.3 million. Booth and Ballard can be bought out next year if we have to do so. Nw we still need a back up, and a 4th line.

Rumour in twitterverse is that Clutterbuck is available.
He would look great on our third line!

Yeah he's an asshole, I hate the guy as well. Mainly cause he's not on our team!rats19 wrote:I hate clusterfuck...but usually that means he play hard and hurts my guys...lolAaronp18 wrote:Rumour in twitterverse is that Clutterbuck is available.

Having the guy that routinely leads the league in hits on our team would be huge. He'd make a ton of room out there for his linemates.
Hmmmm, spot duty with the twins comes to mind as well. Perhaps Burrows for Clutterbuck.

Just a thought, I like Letang and all but bringing him in and kicking Edler out, wouldn't that make us Garrison and the 5 dwarves on the back end?

I don't mind Clusterfuck/Clutterbuck either.

Is the dregs of broadcasting really targeting Vancouver goalies and Tyler Seguin rumours?

Don't forget the 3rd rounder!
I wonder if the Isles are really this low on Niederreiter, or if they just have a hard on for clusterfuck.. even if they had to move Nino you'd think they could have found a taker. A team like Calgary with three first rounders and maybe two or three decent forward prospects..
