Nice week for the twins!
Now all they need to do is re-sign with the Canucks for $5.5M per this July, till they are 37-38ish, so we won't have to have a year long debate on whether to re-sign them or not.
And then they can hopefully add a Cup championship to their impressive list of achievements.

A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Pear has yet to grasp that North American players give nary a fuck about the Worlds and treat it like a free vacation -- especially since they let pros into the Olympics.
I've seen more intensity in preseason NHL games than I've seen from Canada and USA in the Worlds in the last ten years.

And for the record, I'm not into horse races.

Sedins haven't won the Spengler Cup have they? They will probably win it after they retire from the NHL.
Re: Sedins win everything but the cup
The Sedins will be 33 years of age at the drop of the puck next season! Burrows will be 32 but by the time the season is over, 33.

Age has really nothing to do with it, it is about adjustments. Can they adjust their game to be effective? Some players do and some don't. Just how hockey smart are they?RoyalDude wrote:The Sedins will be 33 years of age at the drop of the puck next season! Burrows will be 32 but by the time the season is over, 33.

Selanne and Gomez are two good examples of both.
