Oddly no feeling whatsoever for the leaves....
But on a joyish high, just absolutely giddish thinking about the disappointment in leaf nation right now :)

I hope every apparently one sided call burns in the pits of their guts too :D

Now that Boston has poked a hole in their gigantic collective asshole attitudes. It time to drop them like cheap crack whores and pick a new favourite.

In the LA/SJ series, I'm hoping for an earthquake.

Yeppers, I'm doing a little happy dance fer sures but look out, they have some good young's on their team....after a couple more cracks and a legit #1 'tender the could be contenders...then what do we do? Cheer for Chicago? LA? :wow:

Hopefully our mini-rebuid will be complete and the best way to shut the gates of hell up would to meet and beat them in a Final :rockin:

I'm hoping for them to go one better than Yaroslavl: a mid-air collision between both charter jets.

TSNDaveNaylor: .@sluuby Just to be clear: No NHL team had ever blown a 3-goal lead in 3rd period of a Game 7. Never, ever. Until tonight. #leaves
Heart warming isn't it.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

The Toronto Maple leaves - writing new chapters in the dubious history of hockey since 1967.

I think it would have been more heart warming if TO won in OT.

They'd still technically have the distinction of blowing a three goal lead in the third of a game seven... but at the same time the hearts and souls of Bruins fans would be ripped out right in front of their faces on home ice as the Bruins fail to complete the comeback.

Whatever... the Bruins getting swept in round two will make a nice ending to this saga too.
2011..... the one that got away.

They're probably the only team to write more chapters than us.

I fail to see how the leaves winning anything anytime could be misconstrued as heart warming...

Let me predict the future for Leaf fans. After a surprising playoff berth and good showing in the first round (you know minus the collapse and a few other games), Nonis essentially stands pat expecting internal improvement. The leaves miss the playoffs.

I've seen that movie!!!

Siskel and Ebert gave it two thumbs down but a remake in blue and white sounds heart warming to me :)

Come on Tant, there has to be a 2nd or 3rd round pic to give away on a reclamation project.
