So far from that series I take that there is definitely another team looking for a starting goaltender next year.

Fleury has been abysmal.

I was thinking the exact same thing on a couple of those goals tonight.....especially the 6th one.

He's locked up in Pittsburgh at $5M for another 2 years after this one. What do they do there? Do they make a trade and buy him out? I really can't see any team taking him at $5M. Even when the Penguins won the Cup in 2009 he wasn't great. The last 2 years he's been absolute shit. Even his regular season numbers have reflected more the team in front of him than his own actual ability.

What really surprises me is that they weren't interested in Luongo this year. If they had given us Vokoun in return they would have had the cap space and then been able to deal with the Fleury implosion during the off-season. All they are missing is elite goaltending right now and they would be a completely stacked team from top to bottom. Right now they are paying dearly for having Fleury in net.

I'm over it already and I can't bare to look at the posts from the armchair GMs that never played the game...

Lots of great hockey left...Blues & Kings, Rangers/Caps (laughs n' bears *runs away*)

Fuck the Canucks until the Cup is won! 8-)

No question. You don't have a coach be so vocal on why they are going with the backup if they weren't essentially done with the guy. Well at least Bylsma is done with him I think. They need a big game from a goaltender and they have point blank said that goaltender is not going to be Fleury but Vokoun.

And they aren't going to go with Vokoun as a starter next year.

I know we're all upset about the Canucks being swept, so I thought I'd let you all know that there's one hell of a good hockey game on CBC right now!

Toronto's a big city....plenty of room on the leaves bandwagon, folks!

(BTW, Ryan O'Byrne kinda sucks, so we didn't miss much by not trading for him.)

Yep. You'll recall that Gillis and co took in a Philly/Pittsburgh game, and the idea that Gillis was scouting Philly had the net abuzz. Maybe he wasn't scouting Philly?
(although if the rumours of Gillis offering Lou to Toronto for a 2nd are true, the potential offer from Pittsburgh can't have been that good).

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Carey Price out for the playoffs with lower body groin injury.

Looks like the Sens will advance imo now.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Close call for Price.

Those upper body groin injuries can be career ending.

Someone did a great job of doctoring this up. "Controller disconnected" just as AO enters the screen.

What a pathetic effort on Ovechkins part.

Wow - that's sad. At least circle back for the breakout pass.
