So the morning skate was cancelled?

Why would you interfere with the usual routine unless the flu has felled another player(s) and the team doesn't want it to get worse.

Wonderful. Don't need Chicago fecal food, we're doing a great job of it homestyle. Someone needs to tell these guys not to have germ-laden kids until they finish their hockey careers.

Are you sure they aren't just altering the routine because is NOT a routine game?

Pretty much a must show up game at least... No passengers, no bullshit excuses. Play like you can or the pumpkins leaving the dance early.

in case you didnt...

Job is a wealthy man living in a land called Uz with his large family and extensive flocks. He is “blameless” and “upright,” always careful to avoid doing evil (1:1). One day, Satan (“the Adversary”) appears before God in heaven. God boasts to Satan about Job’s goodness, but Satan argues that Job is only good because God has blessed him abundantly. Satan challenges God that, if given permission to punish the man, Job will turn and curse God. God allows Satan to torment Job to test this bold claim, but he forbids Satan to take Job’s life in the process.

In the course of one day, Job receives four messages, each bearing separate news that his livestock, servants, and ten children have all died due to marauding invaders or natural catastrophes. Job tears his clothes and shaves his head in mourning, but he still blesses God in his prayers. Satan appears in heaven again, and God grants him another chance to test Job. This time, Job is afflicted with horrible skin sores. His wife encourages him to curse God and to give up and die, but Job refuses, struggling to accept his circumstances.

Well, if it's spreading lets go kiss a Shark or two.

Karma. It seems we get felled with some type of virus in round one on a constant basis, ever since we swept a flu ridden team in St. Louis one year.

Well, the bad news is that we've lost our last five home playoff games.

The good news is that we're super fucking due!

Actually the alleged flu that you're referring to was back in 2003, in a series with the Blues that we won in seven games. Not 2009, the year we swept them.

This should be the most desperate we've seen the Canucks in a long-ass time. Let's do this.

maybe Puck...just maybe..as lyrics are always open to the listeners interpretation...maybe it means

"The Sharks are Destined to never leave" meaning they will not get any further along in the run...we are the beast and they can do what they want but...here we come!!!

maybe

Pretty sure it's the same number as the manline... Thornton is a giant poofter.

I hope Kes does a flyby past the Sharks bench when he pots his second of the evening.

Hey speaking of impotence, hank or was it dank with the failure to shoot at least twice last game...
I just remembered seeing the other day a clip of hank talking about auntie noemi getting better with lots of shots the last time they saw him in that accursed (spits on the ground) Chicago series.

Do you suppose that's what they were trying to do, look for the quality shot and not just putting it on net for noemi to practice his skills with??

Just a thought...

if it were me and I had the skill drive and determination to make the NHL I'd have practiced slap shots to the head getting the goalie ducking and trying to get out of the way.

He was talking about Turco. But yeah, that sounds like a winning strategy. Don't shoot the puck unless you're positive it's going in.

Because just throwing it on net never results in big goals in the playoffs.

If these guys no-show again tonight we had better start looking for a new first line.

The song is not about California.

The song is about addiction.

Donny can checkout any time he likes but he can never leave.

I had a dream last night that the Sedins lit it up big time.

They were taking big hits to make plays and scoring goals.

They put up about 5 points between them.

HERE'S TO DREAMS!!! *lifts coffee cup high*
