Is Rahimi still Canuck property? He certainly seemed like a bust, but had a solid season in the SEL this year and has made the roster for Sweden's world championship team.

Only five points, sure, and all those were assists, but he was always meant to be a bruising stay at home D-man, not a scorer.
Anyway, maybe he's just an extreme late bloomer? Will be interesting to see how he can handle top level international hockey.

I love that trade.

According to capgeek he wasn't re-signed after his entry level contract, so is currently an unsigned UFA.

Yup, that was a brilliant trade. Too bad we couldn't hold on to Ehrhoff.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

It's been awhile since there has been a Canuck prospect on Team Canada at the WJC... Hodgson and Bourdon were the last few, I think?

Makes it a bit more fun for me.

Canucks signed free agent Alex Biega - too bad it wasn't Danny Biega...

Alex Biega

Former 5th round pick of Buffalo in 2006, Alex was not re-signed by Buffalo and was UFA.

(Danny Biega was a 3rd round pick of Carolina in 2010, and played with Patrick McNally)

Canucks have also signed free agent Pascal Pelletier... 30 years old, 5'11", 190 lbs, right-handed C

Pascal Pelletier

Probably not considered a prospect, but instead will play a role in Utica.

For all the the hemming and hawing about how crappy the Canucks drafting has been, we're going to have a lot of guys playing pro hockey this year.

G - Lack, Cannata, Eriksson (thank you Sweden for our FA goalie depth)

D - Sauve, Price (if he signs), Andersson, Polasek, Corrado, Tommernes

F - Schroeder, Friesen, Jensen, Grenier, Blomstrand, Mallett, Myron, Archibald, Lain

Not the most blue-chip group but the quantity is better than I can remember since I've been following the farm.
