If CBC could only pick two series then there's no way they could do other than they did. This hasn't come up before because usually two of the three Eastern teams stink every year, but it's a new world. Yes, the dollar is at par out west, but there are more of them here.

Add in Saskatchewan, as we are mainly Canucks fans here too.

They aren't the same borderline excessively rough team as they have been in years past. Of course it is precisely that change that may make them a more effective team...they spent far too much time attempting to intimidate with physical play they got in penalty trouble or lost focus on what was most important. They will be physical but I don't see them being more physical than every other playoff team.

Just tune into the Blues/Kings game right now. Almost 40 minutes of this and there is NO WAY that Ebbett should be even considered as an option on a playoff team. It is all hitting and hard work, Ebbett will be a total liability.

St. Louis' 4th line is just pounding it out for their entire shift every time they hit the ice. They have completely exhausted the Kings top 2 lines and it's not even the third period yet.

Our 4th should be Sestito-Lap-Weise. Send them out and tell them to hit everything that moves.

Luongo with the start. Cannata will back up. Schneider eats popcorn in the pressbox.

Kesler did not take the morning skate and his right arm had a wrap on it.

Damn. Bobby Loo could totally star, wouldn't surprise me if he was great, but I was hoping to see what Schneider could do as the #1 off the bat for a full series.

Oh well, here we go...the Canucks playoff party train is about to leave the station! Never a dull freaking moment.

So Kesler gets hurt on the morning of the first playoff game and Luongo starts in goal?

Ahh, Canucks fandom.

I really hope Lou plays well but I kind of doubt he will. If Schneider is out for any length of time I figure we're fucked.

Yeah, same here. This blows.

Haha.

Let's try to keep our goals realistic here and just hope that he can eek us out a win before the man comes back.

Isn't this why we kept Luongo around? For just this exact scenario. Brilliant GM'ing!

I would concur if Gillis hadn't tried to give him away for a 2nd at the deadline.

How the fuck can Kesler get hurt?

Really?! I mean really? Did he trip on Zack's combover? :eh:
