Summer Movies...what are you gonna see?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

My surgically repaired left ear is back to pre surgery levels and I've got help with both ears. On the waiting list for surgery again as they think the prosthesis they replaced my hammer and anvil with has shifted and hence I'm fucked again.

Right ear has now calcified as well, but the tests show if the hammer and anvil were not ceased, my hearing would be terrific.

The hearing aids have bluetooth, I wirelessly blast music in flac from my phone to my ears. Cool.

The whole scifi/fantasy genre simply has no appeal to me. Yawn. Fart.

Remember when Artie replies to me in capitals all time so I could hear what he was saying? Made me laugh every time.

OH I REMEMBER!!

Fuckin Arty eh!

How long has it been since you got your hearing.... 10 years now?

Amazing what they can do these days...

Did you see Flight or Argo?

Flight imo did a great job of showing what goes on in the minds/lives of junkies.

Argo did a great job of recreating the 1979 Iranian hostage taking.

Jolly good shows I thought.

Just watched Argo.

What a steaming pile of horseshit propaganda. I honestly burst out laughing during the "very dramatic" take off scene. The one where the two cop cars and the unimog gain on the 747 as it is lifting it's nose wheel skyward.

Fuck me was that a terrible movie.

Argo is a big pile of shit. But if you are American you'll love it. The Americans could not handle the real truth behind that story, it would make Canada the real star of the show. Can't have none of that.

Just watched Oblivion. The reviews nailed it.

A rather mediocre hodgepodge of Independence Day, The Matrix, Avatar, and a few other Sci-Fi flicks I've seen.

There was only one "twist" that I didn't see coming. I'm just glad I went on cheap night and only paid $6.

Really looking forward to Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Man of Steel. The latter in particular.

I'm liking this new Star Trek cast - very well-chosen. This is based on the 'first' movie, mind you.

Yeah saw it in 3D last night.

Good movie but I didn't really get the whole Spock beating up Kahn thing. They basically make Kahn into this super human tough guy, then Spock kicks his ass.

Thought that was a little wierd.

But very cool to see them introducing back story for the old movies.
