I believe Ballard skated with forwards today so we may see him tonight.
Vancouver Canucks @VanCanucks 14m
Ballard in at forward tonight. "I might play with Hank and Danny tonight, I haven't decided yet..."

Anaheim will a severely depleted lineup.
Per some Farhan Lalji tweets:
Out = Ryan, Getzlaf, Koivu, Selanne, Allen, Sbisa
Back in = Souray and Beauchemin
AV is considering Ballard as a forward for the playoffs. Not official that he plays tonight up front or if Sestito draws in.

I don't think this game means anything to the Ducks or Canucks.. both have already won their division and have nothing to prove so I don't expect any where near the intensity of the Chicago game.. Maybe a goodbye game for Luongo and another chance for AV to "juggle" and prepare the troops for the playoffs..or it could be a yawner with both teams playing a "Union" game

or they may want to step up intensity to match what will be required to make headway in the playoffs which start very soon...maybe

Should've sat Daniel, Hansen, Hamhuis, Garrison, maybe a few other guys. Higgins, Kesler and Edler need to play to get/keep their game going. Henrik has the Ironman streak.
It would suck so bad to lose a guy to injury in a meaningless game like this. We need all hands on deck for the real games. It doesn't matter how we play or what the score is, we saw against Chicago we can ramp up the intensity when necessary.
AV will look like a massive fucktard if we lose a regular tonight or Saturday.
Send Sestito out to two-hand Perry across the knees.

That 2-0 goal was vintage playoff Luongo. Nice to see he's rounding into postseason form early.

Anyone else enjoying the sight of the Ducks without 3 of their 5 best players completely owning the Canucks?
The total lack of offense should be concerning right now. The fact that the Ducks 2nd and 3rd lines are completely controlling the game should also be no small concern.....even despite our depleted blueline.
I don't care if this game is meaningless. There is zero intensity from this team.

The Ducks don't concern me. I just don't think they're that good.
The Hawks, Kings, and to a lesser extent the Blues are another matter.
Oh, and Ebbett sucks. If AV insists on playing Roy on the wing and leaving us without an NHL third line center, I hope he calls up Schroeder.

Jesus Christ Meds, lighten up a tad maybe.
Probably just a little hard to get going for a game that means diddly squat and with the Ducks resting so many of their regulars.
Don't get hurt, real season starts next week!
But if you need to see the glass as 85% empty go nuts.
