Curling

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I guess everything is relative. There has been curling in Sweden since the late 1800s though the oldest curling club in Canada in Montreal dates to 1807. And Sweden didn't win its first Olympic winter games medals in curling till 1924, though its true that that's when they actually started :)

So yeah, Sweden is pretty new to curling :) Congrats to them.

No shit .... my late cousins husband was the paralympian skip for Canada in 2010. Now he is a disgrace to the family. Thing is he only needed the wheelchair because he is a fat pig. He blew both knees out , had to have both replaced but the dude was over 300 lbs so he used the walker and chair to limp around.
