Instead of talking to people around and building up some real social connections, everybody is busy with this evil thing most of the time.
I don't have it and i don't need a mobile internet connection. You know the times when nobody even had a mobile phone and it went without too. Damn modern society which's killing itself.
Here hear, haven't had a cell in years, Dad had the first car/mobile phone so I was really geeky about it. Then about 16 years ago the first truly portable one hits the market. I'm going with a bud to a Jays game and he spends almost the whole time on the thing talking to his fiancé. I thought it was guys night out.
I'm a/was a big Mac whore. I admit it, I jumped on the whole iThing. From 1992 on I made my living convincing Apple wasn't dead and was a great OS and there would be a seconding coming of Steve 'The One & Only Prophet' Jobs.
I had OS X before anyone else, I used eWorld Had the first iPod in the City iThink
Now? What a fucking slave to rhytm we've all become.
I can't stand texters....you having a conversation with me? You better not check your faggoty phone I will walk away from you like you are the insinificunt gunt you are.
Talking on the cell while driving? I have XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX cells stamped on my bicycle from running you off the road
The world of shitheads that we have created is one thing. Then I learned about the cost as our resident GeoGopher so kindly pointed out above (Thanks TopTop ).
It's not iCrap, it's all mobile electronics in general, even the Android. We are mining rare earth for the privilege of annoyingly being available every second of every day.
Watch TV or play a game while you could be interacting with a cute young immigrant chick?!
Dumas!
Consumers are like a rabid pig. You throw out a 3 year phone for a new one and the pile gets deeper and deeper. Not much of the mobile phone industry is recyclable or Green. My studies in Sustainability taught me that.
I loved the whole iPhone convergence thing but Apple is fucked now as are all the big cell companies.
I have looked for a Eco-phone but they haven't come up with one yet. Call me when they do.
For now I have one mobile laptop that I can text/type anyone, call them via Skype or Google Hangout and surf porn on a big screen!
So have fun paying exuberant prices for a stoopud lifestyle. I'll be the guy on the beer patio enjoying the great sun and microsuds that isn't getting a call every two minutes from his wife reminding him it's his turn to bend over.
