Poor Dreger seems so despondent.
I thought you were going to the gym

I'm going back to the dog park...more action there and less shyte...
Been there and back. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 15 on the bike. It's only an elevator ride away!

Best line of the day so far...'the Flick sweepstakes are over'

:( That's not saying much but they only have 2.5 hours to go....

Come'on MG RHD and big bruising winger...how the fuck hard is that?!

You are a trade deadline day guy already

What is it that these guys don't get? They talk about with the cap going down no one can afford Luongo. Don't they get it's the cap and not the salary and term that matter with respect to the team cap. His cap hit, for a number one is only 5.3. That isn't a problem. Yes, the term is difficult but it is a moveable contract and the acquiring team has an out.

Completely right HW. As I recall there were two seperate out clauses that could be triggered by Lou or the team. But seriously, if Lou is willing to waive to leave Van, there is a good chance he'd waive in the future if his situation is shit. Having control of your destiny doesn't mean you are unmovable.

Besides, rumour was 4-5 mill for Kipper? multi-year contract out to age 40 and Lou is too old?

meh, Lou will get traded in due time... just might be the summer.

It's just the Le(a)f(t) whores doing the spin to try and get the price down.

Seriously, they have a hard-on for their masters and a hate on for the Canucks.

Is the 35yr old rule still in effect? Kipper is 36.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Its when you sign the deal so no problem. But had he been traded and then retired one year early then the "Luongo" rule would have come into play. But Feaster probably didn't know that.

I'm thinking if he went to the Leaves and they extended him vs Luongo's cap hit/term.

@BrownGoesDown Kipper didn't sign with Laughs because of harsh anti-smoking laws in T.O.
