Great second period from the team. First and third were piss poor.
Cory stole them 2 points. Vigneault got the better goaltending by a country mile.....now of course he can pat himself on the back and say, "That's what I needed all along, had nothing to do with no offensive punch or finish."
In the 2nd period I loved what I saw from Hank and Danny. Confidence. Willing to play with the puck in traffic and stick handle around guys with some fancy moves. When they are going like that and have that mojo in their pocket they are still a force and St. Louis had no answer.
Defense was better.
I was SHOCKED to see Ballard get in for this game after his screw up last game.
Vigneault still needs to go.

3-0 after two, get a late PP in the final 3 minutes after The Blues got back in the game on two lucky bounces.
2 shots on net (none on that PP). Way to motivate them team, AV.
At least the goaltender played well.

Yet watching yesterday's game and games before I saw glaring mistakes made by Bieksa and Edler and yet no one talks about them. Double standards which is un acceptable.
I agree AV needs to go, always have said it for the past 3 seasons.

The second period success was largely due to coaching changes in penalty killing, breakouts, offensive zone puck management and obviously coaching motivation.
Give AV an extention now.

Canucks look old, slow, predictable and uncoordinated coming out of their own end....it's hard to watch
Fire the coach, trade the core and both goalies....get some talented D in there!
Ride that burn'n wagon

I love every move Jim Benning makes
