Ahem... on a more on-synch/topic kind of note, do people suppose that the latest funk, puts more pressure on GMMG to make a deal with Luongo?

Apparently, Dale Tallon stated to the world the other day that their young upa n coming goalie (forget his name right now) was indded their number 1 going forward, and he went ahead and laid a few more eggs in net (making Tallon look bad). I get the impression that come hell or high water, Tallon doesn't want to do business where Luo is concerned!?

On a more personal theme, I have to laugh at myself at how I log on everyday with the primary concern/curiousity, 'did Luo get dealt today!!??' Kinda wonder if it's ever going to happen now? Esp. wih other GMs knowing that the Nucks are 'suckin' these days (putting GMMG in a positon of less strength).

That is funny because I log on everyday with the hopes of reading "Vigneault" and "Fired" in the same sentence.

Watching the Coilers get demolished by Nashville, and I realized that one team who is in dire need of a solid goalie (among other things) are, indeed, the Coilers. Lou would never go there, and Gillis would never send him there, but it makes you wonder what kind of trade it would take for one team to upgrade their goaltending, perhaps move one of their young goalies and move some players/prospects.

Imagine a Markstrom to Edmonton/Luongo to Florida/prospects-picks-players coming to Van. Not saying Florida has to be the intermediary, but a team like that who may want to part with a decent goalie they have in order to get top-end goaltending.

To me, this might be what may have to happen for Gillis to get max value out of a Luongo trade.

Just sayin... :mex:

The 3way is the one thing that opens up divisional trade.

Hey I really like Kadri & Bozak for that matter...BigTuna and his quoting ability....meh!

I went back through your posts///you have misused the tool from day 1. I believe you do it on purpose as..no one is that inept..wtf
Getting back to the topic...

Do we have a pretty good idea that TO offered Bozak & Kadri?

Because I thought they offered Bozak and a low pick, but wouldn't include Kadri?
