Wow the patented trip and lose the puck, follwed by the get out of the way to give a clear lane to the net....

We now have more losses than wins, yikes.

We just lost to the last place team and our goalie played a great game. Absolutely embarrassing.

I'm getting really tired of hearing the mantra, "Pucks at the net and pretty soon those bounces are going to land on our sticks."

Maybe try putting pucks in the net?

Quit "waiting for it to happen".

Edler is brutal.

Valk just nailed it.

Team needs a shakeup. 8 regulation wins in 23 games. Not good enough.

Trade Edler and fire Vigneault!

Are you sure that it was #23 who goofed on the play? I thought only #4 was supposed to make bonehead plays... :P

Its time to send AV back to the Habs.
The 3rd line with Lappy & Booth just isnt working.

Uh huh.. the "brains" that made Edler the highest paid Dman on the team or the "brains" that signed Ballard ?

23 never makes mistakes, to some he is God.

Like I said, all players need to be held accountable or bonehead plays continue to happen. Different levels of what can be done for the player of course. AV does not hold his stars at all acountable for their mistakes, at least I don't see it.

Score notwithstanding, this game was almost enough to turn me off of NHL hockey for good. I might have got more pleasure from punching myself in the junk a couple of times than watching this game.

The officiating was horrawful, as usual. I was actually surprised the Canucks actually got a call. I think it's official - the refs union has issued a fatwa against AV and the boys, undoubtedly with the league's tacit approval.

Having said that, the Canucks were painful to watch for the most part. Almost all of them played like their mojo was sucked out of them a-la 'Space Jam'. Even Tanev was looking bad out there at times - nd he was arguably the best of the bunch.

The only guys who showed any jam were Kassian and Booth, but they had no puck-luck whatsoever.

That soaking stink around the team these days isn't coming from the bed-wetters, but from the Hockey Gods playing golden water sports on the whole organization.

Don't know about Edlern (playing full-retard out there, but who's out there to replace him in trade?), but I'm starting to wonder what Vigneault's problem is. Frankly, he's running out of excuses and this team is really starting to look like the one who sleep-stumbled into a 1st round elimination last year. Maybe it is time for a change, and with Ruff still unsigned it's not like there's nobody worthy as a replacement.

Either way, I agree - this team needs a good Rick James-style bitch-slapping to wake the F*ck up.

Boy, luv Hank and all. He's our captain, he's our best offensive player and he's the reason we even went to OT, but he sure looked bad on that BJ game winning goal. When Edler misses on his check like that, u gotta help him out, u don't back off like that and let the guy just walk into the slot untouched. :(

Horrible game. Team looks like they have little interest.

While Edler has not played up to his capabilities, those who blame him for the winning goal need to view the replay. Hank had the goal scorer at centre, let him get away and then proceeded to back in and allow him to walk off the boards unchecked into the slot.

This was a new low. We're talking Columbus for fucks sake not the Shithawks or the Wings. For Christs sake Gillis do something, quit walking around with your finger up your ass.
