Who the hell is Nilstorp? :look:

Like the lineup.....mostly. Hopefully Vigneault lets them play and doesn't start juggling to early.

I hate the mentality of a coach who see's a guy having a good game so moves him to totally new linemates halfway through instead of letting him continue to play well with the guys he's somewhat gelling with. I often find that instead of the "hot player" sparking new mates, he just continues and his former linemates fall off and you end up shortening the bench. Sometimes it works, and when it does all the talking heads call him a genius for making such a savvy coaching move and recognizing when the time was right to juggle......

Need a regulation win tonight.

It's going to be tough to intimidate anyone without our infamous goon Charlie Hansen in the lineup, but hopefully guys like Volpatti can pick up the slack.

I was wondering the same thing myself!

Never drafted 29-year-ole Swede whom the Stars signed to a 2-way ($100K/1mil) 4 weeks ago.

That's all I know.

Perhaps Per can enlighten us.

Just another Swedish goalie plying his trade in the NHL. Seven of them this season.

Nilstorp has spent most of his career in the Swedish second tier league, but the last four seasons in the SEL.
Won the Swedish championship with Färjestad as backup in 2010/11, albeit, playing 23 of 55 regular season games, he was probably more of a 1B than straight backup. Last season he was their starting goalie, playing 44 of their 55 regular seson games and sporting a 1.90 GAA and .928 saves percentage. The stats looked even better in his seven playoff games, 1.80 and .938, but they were a surprise first round elimination in seven games. His performance still earned him a place on the national team and a ticket to Texas. Only played two games for the Stars so far. Shouldn't be too much of a threat to the Nucks. Probably needs more time to adjust.

Is Jamie Benn double shifting as a #6 d-man or have they cloned him?

Edit-nevermind...he has a clone

Why do our D constantly fall down and try to block shots?

Bieksa/Hamhus (sp) - that was pathetic defending.

All right would a somewhat sober, somewhat logicall fan give me an update on the first. Out in the valley working, on my way back and all I have to go on is the local assheads on team 1040 after the first. I'd like to skullfuck Jeff Paterson and grow a tail in Blake Price's mouth. Fuck these guys are more bitter than Pacific Blue. Maybe they date transvestites too.

Fill me in fuckers.

Whats going on around here? Where is everybody?
Dallas looks like they spend countless hours scouting our tendencies and breakouts. That kinda sucks  Jagr, Benn and Morrow are cycling like giant Sedins on our D and it aint pretty!
Gotta simplify thing and knock pucks of the glass better this period, especially with the long change. Get our speedy forwards skating hard into those chips and it'll back off the pinch and give us more room to make things happen

Our PP snagged us a goal, we've been scrambling in our zone and they seem to have the book on our D-zone puck plan.
Cant seem to get the puck back off the Jagr/Benn line

Edit: Bieksa goes all Bobby Orr and ties it
