One game for Hansen. Listened to Shanny explain it and it was a crock. Ultra slow motion to justify his position. Given what he has deemed a non suspension so far this year this is crap. If it was such a vicious hit, as he concludes, then why only one game? This was mean to appease Chicago. The Keith hit on Dank only gets 5 and hansen gets one.

I guess Booth will get more ice time tomorrow!

Correct me if I'm wrong,but the refs didn't even blow the whistle until the shit-hawks crowd went nuts. If that hit was against anyone else there would be no suspension or a penalty.

Seriously, I am not surprised at all. Ever since the lengthy suspension that Rome received for hitting Horton, the non-suspension on Boychuk's hit on Raymond, and a meaningless 5 games suspension on Keith's elbow, one game suspension is really nothing for a no name player on a small market Canadian team. Imagine that Cooke was still a Canuck and did the same to Keith, Cooke would be permanently suspended.

Don't really care about this either way, I personally don't think it was suspendable but obviously Shanny disagrees. I guess you could reach and argue that Jannik was somewhat out of control, but that's really reaching.

That said, I don't really care about stuff like this - it won't affect the team or Jannik much.

Do I hate the Hawks or what? If people think having Kesler, Burrows, and Lapierre is embarrassing, imagine adding the couldn't-act-and-superman wannabe Kane, the never-fight-but-acting-tough Bolland, and the whine-and-cry-from-whistle-to-whistle Toews.

I now think if calmer less selfish heads prevail. Hossa's well being and standard level of health may have been saved by this insignificant glancing blow. But only if anyone cares.
