$12,000,000 d-man Tyler Myers a healthy scratch for the second game in a row today, while his smurf-like teammates prepare for the big bad Bruins.
He's been dreadful in his own end this year, sporting a team worst -9, while contributing but one point (ppg) in his first 11 games.

Ouch.
Good thing we took stumpy legs and turned him into gold. (although at the time I really wanted Myers)
Getting a kick reading about how "badass" the Maple Leaves have become. Can't wait to see a good team with a decent powerplay light them up.
Keep playing Fraser, Orr and McLaren...that's the key to success right there.

it is to laugh, the talking leafblowers over at TSN were chatting shit about truculence and Brian Burke, now that he's gone the team starts playing his tune
the Flyers/leaves tonight could be good. The leaves are full of themselves and talking tough after beating up a smallish habs team. Hopefully Hartnell is back in the line-up

I'm quite happy for the leaves to be playing this well. Imagine if we had Bozak and Kadri right now how much stringer we would be, how much more depth we would have. And we would have one of their goalies to boot.
TO is playing some good hockey and they are getting good goaltending, sporadically. It can all fall apart in one bad moment. But I am glad for the way they are playing.
Ryan Smith as a trade deadline pick up...
He's long in the tooth and not particularly skilled but in a long playoff as a depth guy with heart, size and a knack for dirty timely goals??
Maybe a swan song for him to cut his veins open and leave it all on the ice one last time?
Bad idea I know but since we are going to the final anyway...
just sayin...
