This Kassian dude may be a ugly pos, but his play was a beauty.

Best period of the season for the Sedins. Kassian is sure looking more and more comfortable out there... kid must've worked hard over the summer/fall, because this is not the guy who got here at the trade deadline.

I'm not minding this Garrison-Bieksa pairing. I think Edler could really benefit (much like Bieksa has before) having Hamhuis there.

OMG Lu wins a shootout??? What is going on. Perhaps we shouldn't let him go...but then again there's the playoff Lu.

Damn tasty to beat the Sh*thawks tho.

Boy, was that actually Luongo?

I've never seen him so steady and confident in shootouts like this before.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Compared to what I expected that was a freaking boring game.

On the PP - how about changing up the D pair and put Ballard.Tanev to try something different.

Good on Luongo for the SO win.

Wow, I just presumed the Canucks would lose this shootout. Real nice to see the rookie get the S/O winner. He's got some development work to do still, but he does not look too out of place there.

Luongo was it.

Really nice to get the win, good on Lou for coming up large in the shootout.

Man oh man did our PP ever look crappy in the 3rd. There has already been at least a couple of games this year when our PP has had multiple chances in the 3rd period of games and come up short. I'm not sure what the issue is, maybe its too predictable, but it really hasn't looked great. It also seems like we are missing the net alot...

2 points for Luongo. Reminds me of when he first got here. Stealing points game after game. Good on him. I'm lining his new calm attitude, looks like he is just having fun again. Love TSn trying to make an issue where none exists. If both goalies are playing good you go with Luongo. he makes a better starter than back up and to me the net is his to lose. I have no doubt he will be gone soon enough from Vancouver and Cory will get his time to shine but for now I'm loving seeing Luongo play like this.

He is our gipper this year. Everyone can rally around and win it for him. I love sad stories with happy endings. :D :D

Our PP is bad and has been for some time. Time to go back tot he drawing board on this one. Get it fixed for the playoffs would be nice. PK doing ok so no real complaints there. We have a relaxed week games wise which comes at a good time. Get some practice in, some rest and maybe some good news on the Kesler and Booth front.

Love getting those two points!

I just love how everyone here thinks that this team misses Booth.

Ummmm.....what?

Did you watch the same game as me Rats?

We showed up and owned the first 20 minutes.....then it was pretty much all Chicago until the final horn.

This game was Luongo's for 65 minutes and 4 shooters. One of the best games I have ever seen him play.

mmm Luongo playing to his best until he gets traded...

can't ask for more than that

Gotta use up all the value from Luongo and then trade him for some good returns

Sweet deals
