He had a great game last night against the Flames. Absolutely sick on the shoot out. He seems to be playing a big boy game so far this season, and I love it.

The games that I have seen of Kassian, he is a frustrating player, gives flashes here and there but for the most part he is pretty much not all that noticeable.

Hmmm should I run RoyalDude + Gassian through the search engine??

Edmonton Oilers
@EdmontonOilers
Krueger also notes that Ben Eager has been diagnosed with a concussion.
It's safe to assume that Eager suffered the concussion in his third period fight with Zack Kassian in Vancouver on Sunday night. The video shows Kassian landing a few really good lefts at the start of the fight that not only split Eager open but also seem to have now knocked him out of the lineup.

Hard to be me? Not really, I feel a great sense of freedom being an atheist, you should try it some time. I'm just not a company man like you Doc. Cults are for freaky people.

Dude, try having your first child at my old age and trying to make sense of your life after years of taking it easy. I slacked far too long and now I'm stressed to the max in trying to make it as a family man with a mortgage and a business. I'm losing my hair so fast I can actually feel the follicles dying.

That's awesome Dude, keep be'n grumpy and honest, the other posers on here are nothing but hippocrates and liars...and sinners if bragging about do'n their ugly nannies
Not sure if this was tossed up here earlier in this trhead or another, but TSN just reported that the Sedins recognized something in Kassian when he first arrived after the trade, and so they asked him to come and train with them during the summer (and through the lockout I'm assuming). Explains alot of his progress and his ability to just slide right in and play with them.
TSN also reported that Gillis sent Kassian for some MMA training this summer.....that would help explain how he tuned Eager so handily.
One more thing, they say he is now on the top PP unit with the Sedins.
