The really fucked up thing about this and Sandy Hook is that in both incidences, the victim was trying to help the perpetrator coping with with mental illness by getting them out to the range and involved in firearms.

Lanza`s mother got her son involved with shooting to teach him a sense of responsibility because guns require respect. Kyle had Routh out at the range to help him get cope with PTSD.
