OK, I entered a team.

Named it Birch Leafs, then I remembered that at the old CC you were supposed to enter teams under your regular name.
Not sure what's the norm here. Hope this is still OK.

We don't really care much here - but if you use your CC handle, then it's easier to brag when you're at the top.

Also, no idea if there will be any prizes other than bragging rights, but Brian is usually good at finding something.

True dat, but I have had the Björklöven (birch leafs) logo as my avatar for ages, so people might be able to connect the dots anyway. It is what it is.

Btw, for useless trivia, it's not only Patrik & Peter Sundström, Peter Andersson, Ulf Dahlén, Calle Johansson (now back in Washington as assistant coach) and Roger Hägglund that have played in Björklöven before launching their NHL careers. Adam Hall also donned the Birch Leafs jersey to play a handful of pre season games back in 2002. The Swedish season starts earlier, Björklöven had a Canadian coach (Randy Edmonds) back then, and Nashville thought some of their rookies could benefit from going on ice early.

Ok - we're set up in the same format as last year.

Last year, the points that skaters accumulated was equal to: goals + assists. Part of a simple system that didn't require too much effort, & worked well.

This years points formula includes SOG for all selected players. Points for skaters seems to be: goals + assists + shots on goal. Is this what you intended?

Each year this comes up, so don't feel too bad: SOG = Shoot out goals.

When I looked at a screen capture of last year's points system, it showed: G A W SO.
This year, it shows: G A SOG W SO.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the other stuff.
