Pretty sure Lack is injured (out for a month?).

But either way, Schneids would need a veteran back-up imo.

Raycroft would be a serviceable option to share back up duties with Lack.

Schneider- 30 games
Raycroft- 9 games
Lack- 9 games

Something along those lines anyways.

Turco's supposedly a great team guy, but his game has been on a dramatic decline.

I could live with that Eddy.

As an aside, I noticed Raycroft's "profile" comments are removed from The Hockey News' site.

I thought they only did that when a player retires.

Is this a 1-way contract? Didn't we already go down this road with the "worse-defenceman-ever" twice with MAG and Parent? Just watch AV play him over Ballard
Parent, PAG, Rome, Fitzpatrick, Weinrich, Sopel (part deux), Krajicek.....long list in Vancouver of defensemen who were either abysmal and yet played more minutes than they earned, or they were hailed as having some big potential and totally busted.....oh and one of them put his back out holding a cracker.

We now have a Vandermeer to go with our Barker. Cheap depth moves...but hard to imagine either guy really making a difference.

Well at least Vandermeer won't allow crease crashing. Anyone who does will find out just how tough this guy is. Barker seems to have had a string of bad luck with injuries and before passing judgement I'll wait to see how camp goes. The greatest area of concern right now is the 2 C spot. I have very "little" faith in the two tiny tots Gillis says he is prepared to go with. I would sign Arnott to a 1 year contract and go from there, he is big and strong and perhaps a good replacement of Kesler on the PP. I wouldn't trade Luo until after this season as a 48 game sprint to the finish will play havoc on whoever is #1. With Luo here as well it won't matter which one plays. Then in the summer more teams can use their buyouts and make an offer.

Maybe we should have a YouTube imbedded image tutorial.

youtube link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6i9eq4I6_M

Take the bolded numbers at the end of the YouTube link, copy them.

Click on the "youtube" tab:
Image

Insert bolded numbers between tab (without spacing):

And you'll get this:

Thank you CC tech support for the tutorial!

Not sure if he can actually play, but good to see Vandermeer be able to handle a monster like Lucic.

put in the training camp thread but Booth tweaked his groin and is going to get a MRI. tweaked and MRI don't usually go hand in hand.

Aaron, I only figured that one out the other day.

Where were you when I was teaching Lever how to use quotes.

I hope Booth isn't blinded by his injury.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

For me, tweaked usually goes groin in hand.
