Fan of Arnott; 2nd coming of Linden, perhaps. Or maybe a good'n'uff Doan. Fill in the 2nd C and should be willing to move down and still be effective when Kes gets back. However, I'm not sure if he's fast/quick enough to keep up with AV's style for the Canucks. Especially the top 2 lines.
I don't see AV changing his style based on what players he's been given.
As it has ever been, just getting into the playoffs give you the opportunity to win the SC. With a hobbled half season before a full playoffs, I'd be interested to throw in prospects in the position, given Kesler should be back just prior to the playoffs - force the 2nd line wingers to think about the game, too, and perhaps assume leadership/mentorship roles. Assuming we had solid 2nd line wingers (who AV will consistently pair together).

Watched him very closely that season.
His lights are on but HE'S NOT HOME.
Something seriously wrong with that boy, don't even want him in close proximity to my Canucks.

Barker cut yet?
Re: 2013 Canucks Short Preseason/Training Camp
Among the non-regulars at camp: Archibald, Rodin, Sweatt, Gordon, Joslin, Corrado, Andersson.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Figured he was the new mathematician for Gilman to help figure out the cap.

No PTO
LeBrun: Hearing #Canucks have agreed to terms on one year, $700 K pro-rated deal with d-man Cam Barker. I like that signing.

Re: 2013 Canucks Short Preseason/Training Camp
Meh.....depth signing. There's absolutely nobody on the farm who was going to step into the 8 hole......why rush Corrado ?
Barker is big, mobile and he was a # 3 overall pick. Who knows maybe he makes Keith Ballard expendable ??
I would have preferred Jim Vandermeer myself but obviously Mike Gillis doesn't agree. Either way this team needed some experience on the back end and I don't see a ton of guys out there. he can shoot the puck and he did put up 40 points with the Hawks three years ago. He has had a lot of injuries lately and when he is eating up 1 % of the cap I think it's a pretty low risk move.
