Gaza Attacks

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

They've proposed a change, and from I've heard, Nebraska's not satisfied.

There very well could be, but it doesn't change the fact that the world will be sucking on that big black tit of oil for at least another 50 years and it is still a very important resource.

He did ok. Don't think he was hugely invested in stock options but fwiw his company pension is about equal to what I take home in a month ( basically a tradesman's wage+ so figure that out if you must) so he does ok. BTW as I said that whole mess was entirely the fault of Burnaby City despite Corrigan and his backpedalling. You always call before you dig regardless if the drawings and specs were a bit outdated.

LOL I haven't got any handouts recently Pacific Blue I am in my early 40's.

Yep - missed that one. Still not an ideal route, but better than originally planned.

The regulatory game has been played by the Feds. It was after the agreement I noted above that the Obiwan stepped in and halted the project to appease the weenies. A few months later he approved the southern portion of the pipeline to appease job seekers.

The project was again submitted for environmental assessment in May with the company's environmental assessment submitted just this past September.

Interesting that the group that blockaded the survey crew is not even recognized by their own band.

I hearya Blobby Bear Mountain...my old man went belly-up, so I never saw any of the fruits of his labour. No handouts like Doc Strangelove and Potatoe have been getting their whole lives.

RD, You and this post of mine are a waste of space.

Go cry a river somewhere else.

I'd love to hear about the peoples take (about your moaning your dad actually had a possibly successful business) in Gaza.

GFY.

A gross violation of the Geneva convention and a war crime.

Actually, Hitler originally just wanted the to get the Jews out of Germany (and preferrably Europe). It was only after the Nazi leadership realized that the British refused to let them settle in Palestine and no one else wanted them, that they decided to kill them instead. They were harassing and persecuting the Jews from day one, but the decision to kill them all was not taken till 1942.

So, if you decide that you want to get rid of all Palestinians (most of whom are ethnic Jews, by the way) in the occupied territories, and you realize that no one wants to grant them asylum, what says you don't have a little Wannsee conference on your own to come up with a final solution? :hmmm:

Is Stephen far behind? He doesn't like the idea of a Palestinian State. Or environmental research or science. He must know how Elmo felt...having a pedophile sticking his had up is ass so far to make him squeal like a pig. 8-)

Yet another reason Israel would be foolish to agree to Palestinian statehood... no country, no war, no Geneva Convention.
no war = no war crime.

First off what does that tell you about the Israeli resolve to never trust anyone else for survival ever again. Not even the US would take a boat full and returned them to the Nazi's...

Besides the the Jews were only the first intended victims, Lebensraum is the policy that more closely resembles what people want to accuse Israel of and I think thats way over the top. The Jews were never more than a scapegoat for the Nazi's, while the Arabs claiming palestine are much more than that. they are a threat to Israel's survival.

I think the Israeli's would argue that they don't want to get rid of anyone but rather its the Arabs that want to get rid of them, so what choice do they have? And by the way no one is guilt free when it comes to war crimes and atrocities... Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Guantanamo bay. Its mighty convenient to point that finger when it suits...

Actually, I am a little confused by this sudden revelation that the people living in the former palestine are genetically related. what's so surprising about that, its common knowledge that the entire middle east are populated by Semites including the jews? However politically the Palestinians are Arab and muslim and only started using the name Palestinian after 1949.

Y'know I argue he is the best thing that ever happened to this city. He pissed off a lot of people. It galvanized them and got them involved. Harpers doing the same thing.

Saves on heating any way plus I understand this is a a natural methane ? found in many areas naturally or from landfills septic tanks in many cases. I have a septic tank at the cottage and if you're down wind you some times think man you could blow the whole cottage up with the methane coming from it
cheers
